Candy cane problem?

I have these baby 5 heads candy cane, one of the two on the left branch is turning black but the rest are fine. I noticed at night when I feed them the tentacles don't come out, probably starved itself. Will it damage the other ones especially the one next to it? Here is the picture

The one next to is rapidly turning black as well, I hope the other ones don't. Why does it do that?

I have been reading up on Candy Canes as I will be receiving some tomorrow. There are a couple of things that can cause such a downfall i.e. algae bloom, damaged skin, etc. One thing that I have read is that when something like this is happening to the CC you should try to dip it in the Iodine coral solution to help it get on its way to recovery. I am no expert but I have been reading into CC's. Wish you nothing but the best.

I think the two on the left are goner, I'll just leave the other three alone and hopefully won't get affected. Not too crazy about them being a night feeder, but hopefully they survive.

is they aren't extending their polyps something is probably bothering them... without them they wont feed... place it in a low-med flow and low-med light... what are ur params? NO3, PO4, nitrites, amonia, salinity, temperature...

Only one doesnt extend polyps the rest do and feed because I target feed them after lights out. They are in med flow and med light that I can see. These are only 1/2" in diameter, just babies.

Po4 unknown but no algae on sand minimal on rocks
Salinity 1.024
78-79 degrees

I cut the two on the left as both of them turned black. No one is nipping them, I only have starry blenny and sixline in a 40g.
Cal- 450
Mag-1500
Alk did not test I assume it's within range.
