I'm buying a 80 gallon freshwater and converting to salt. It comes with LOTS of goodies! But the filtration is 2 marineland 350 magnum cannister filters and Bio pro systems. Its a cannister that also hooks up to a hob biowheel if your not familiar. Anyway, will I be able to use these on a Fowlr?

I used one for about a year with no problems when I first converted to salt, just have to do regular cleanings on them and you should be fine.

Did you remove anything or add any chemical media?

ditch the bio wheel. Just use some live/ seeded dead rock. You may want to run carbon and the water polishing filter works well.

You will still need a protein skimmer and probably a sump to house it. Then the magnum becomes worthless.
