You can pick up a 30D body only for about $420 and a 40D body for about $500

40D's are in the $1100-1200 range, as that's Canon's newest, latest, and greatest.
I've just picked up a Rebel Xti and it's in the $800-$900 range. The Rebel Xti features 10.1 MP as well.

No, they go for a lot more on the Egray market.

No Gray market is the equipment thats been sitting on docks on distance shores for 3 months and not used company buy these cameras up and sell them at a highly discounted price. They come with no warranty, unless you buy one from the company that sells it which in the end.... might have well bought a white market camera.

Go ahead and try to buy it for that price.

That's a bait and switch shop. That price gets you a grey market body. The battery, the software, the strap, the charger....are all extra. If you don't agree to the extras your item never ships.
