ok, well, me and thirschmann were talking about nikons and canons, and we thought it would be a fun idea to compare the two brands.

so this thread will be about sharing the best pic you have gotten out of you canon or nikon, and just talking about the settings, brands, etc.

RULES

this is purley for fun, NO FLAMING, SCREAMING, ETC. !!!!
post the brand and make of your camera
you can post as many pics as you want
also, did i forget, NO FLAMING, SCREAMING, ETC. !!!!!!

Love my Nikon but was also very impressed by the picture quality from my Canon Digi Cam.

OK, I'll start. I mostly do nature crap. Bugs, birds, flowers and animals.

Canon 20D and various lenses, flashes (the butterfly is ambient light). For non-aquarium macro photography, the Canon 65mm 1x-5x macro is a lens that offers ease-of-magnification beyond 1x that Nikon can't match.

wow, beautiful pictures. I have a nikon D80, but my pictures don't look nothing like those, so I'll hold off on posting until i get better. lol.

Are those your shots? Because I got to tell you, the Yosemite shots are just insane. How did you do the water fall with the night sky?
