Hi Ryguan,
If you're trying to save money I'll help build you a nice canopy in trade for frags. I've been doing fine carpentry for years. Check what the "pros" are quoting and I'll see how much money I can save you. Usually they price their labor VERY high. Without labor most canopies cost only ~$45-$75 with all the hinges/paint/stain. Of course this depends on size, color and functions. Plus I do something most manufacturers don't do; I make the attachment point out of acrylic. That adds a little more cost (~$5-$10), but it stops ALL salt creep and water damage. We can even replace metal hinges with plastic. to stop rust.
