Canopy in progress

I've begun working on the canopy for the tank. I was going to wait a bit, but then realised I could do it using some scrap plywood and one new sheet. I'm working on another furniture piece which had some leftover wood, so it just made sense. I didn't take many pictures of the build progress, but here it is in rough form on top of the stand:

I also installed the false drawer fronts, and now things look very balanced. I'll post a pic of them in my next entry.
