I already made a post about this but I just added live rock and yesterday found something I couldnt figure out. It looked like some kind of snail. It has a flat center with little spikes coming around the edges. Today it has climned halfway up the glass. Could it be a snail or maybe a baby sea urching or something. Any help would be appreciated.

Need picture... Baby sea urchins are somewhat common, but there's lots of animals that could match that description.

This is the best I could get.

Ahhh it's an inside out roving aiptasia!!!! Opps over active imagination lack of sleep and too much Mt D. .... Kinda neato lookin...

It might be a nudibranch with a taste for some species of coral, but I would just ignore it. If so, it'll die soon enough.

Thats the best I can get because it is so small. It is also on the front pane so I cant get a behind shot because my rockwork is in the way. I will try to figure it out maybe take it to my lfs.

its a 100 gallon with about 200lbs of live sand and 130 or so lbs of live rock. The rock came from a reef tank that was being torn down. I dont have any lighting right now. Should I kill it?

yes the easiest wasy is to go to a local fish store ,and buy aiptasia remover i cant remember the name of the medicine ,but you should kill it asap it will spread fast if not dealt with.

Is the medicine anything that can hurt the tank because I was hoping to put corals in but I know that if it has copper than it isnt possible because if any traces are left it can ruin the corals.

Well I did some research on them and I definitely had one that was very small. It gave a list of ways to control them and since mine was hidden anywhere I tried injecting it with boiling water which worked. It fell off so I picked it up and put it in the water. Hopefully that is the only one I had or will have. Well see how it goes. Luckily my tank is cycling so there is nothing for it to hurt.

That doesn't look like an Aiptasia to me. If you can see it moving while you watch, it's definitely something else.
