Can't find wavemaker I want...

All I want is a wavemaker controller that will run a powerhead for so long, like 5 seconds, and then not start the next run until 1 minute later.

In other words, all the controllers I'm seeing have only even start\stop times, but I want my stop time to be much longer than the run time.

I'm hoping to go with either hydor or jabao.

Am I just dreaming?

With the Jebao Aqualink you can run it for 5 sec and stop it for .3 or whatever combination, i have not tried the stop time longer than the run time but I don't see why it wouldn't let you.

the maxspect gyre functionality can do that. You can set forward gyre for one time frame, and the reverse for a different time frame.

A buddy of mine made one for me that will run 2 power heads. Adjustable from 1-60 seconds. Both on and off times are fully adjustable independently. He did it with some kind of time adjustable relays. If I had to guess it was probably expensive to make, but he did it with parts that were once used for an experiment at his place of work. He also had the relays that would do .1-5 seconds or ones that would do 1-60 minutes. The guy is amazing. I tell him what I was trying to do and he goes to the shelf, grabs a bunch of stuff and 20 minutes later he has the thing working. He mounted the relays in a weather-proof box. I left the cover off until I got the timing good then sealed it up.
