can't keep tank temps down

malcom i don't type much but if you send me a pm ill tell you how i keep my 180g tank at 75 after the ligths go off and 79 when they on no chiller only fans i have 3X 400 MH they ligth in the sump never off and all my equipment if you like go to my hoe page and take a look on my webcam

I put a chiller on mine just to moderate the temp swing, which was almost 4 degrees, now it's ~0.5F

Yeah, all you will need other than Mannys design are some ear plugs

lol no man you won't here a ting trust me plus for the money its way bater then a chiller

I did it as a DIY project first, it brought the swing down to 2 degrees or so. Then after a month of looking at that Frankenstein's monster looking creation I broke down and bought the real thing, It seemed that any material that was even remotely efficient at transferring heat was either ridiculously expensive or not entirely beneficial to a corals health and well being.
