Captive bred G. Personatus in a reef tank

Still trying to figure out how you focus on work at all, or your wife or anything other than your fish! Hence the disclaimer to your wife in your signature

lol...yeah it's very hard. I gotta tell you though. The times that I appreciate my tank the most and actually get lost staring into it is about just after my third dram of scotch!:thumbsup:

I was like that after a bottle of wine last night. I believe it came out as "thanks for convincing me to get the 11' tank babe, I REALLY do enjoy it." With a solid reply of "it's your house, you didn't need my approval"

You don't need me to tell you that's she's definitely a keeper!

The water is a bit cloudy because I just cleaned the glass. BTW, you're making it quite hard to focus on work today!

Nice tank! How do you keep your sand clean like that and what grade sand is it?

Hey Ted, glad to see the siblings doing so well! I can't wait until one of ours changes into a male. Can you imagine?!?

thanks! should be amazing..I have a couple pics that seem to show some orange on one of their pecs, but I don't see it at all in person...
love that their tails are beginning to thread, a great sign as far as their maturing goes..

did you see what I posted in the imp hybrid thread and on my build thread?
lol, check them out...

Hey everyone,

It's been a long while since I gave an update on my GP's. It's been a very busy and stressful summer for me. A lot has happened personally, professionally and with my reef tank, but my GP's have weathered it all very well. They're growing quickly and are nice and fat! I'm still waiting for my dominant one to show yellow anal fins like humaguy's but alas, not yet. Anyway, here are a couple pics I snapped today:

My little girl:

I thought this scale and fin closeup was cool:

It was impossible to get the trio together and not move but here's the best I could get:

I promise I'll take more when I have some more time. Honestly, I'm battling a terrible invasion of macro algae in my reef tank and am embarrassed with the way it looks right now. However, things have finally slowed down and I'm able to focus on all my tanks again. It's been a long fight, but I'm finally beating the algae invasion and hope to have it eradicated in a month or two. More pics to come...I promise :)
