carbon dosing + filter feeders

I mistakenly posted this in the Reef Chemistry forum, but meant to put it here... :beer:

Now if you keep inverts that feed on bacteria such as some sponges, have you noticed an improvement in their growth since carbon dosing?

If you have, could you specify what sort of carbon dosing you do eg VSV etc...

Also is your skimmer pretty powerful considering your bioload?
