Cardinalfish Rearing?

Im soooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bounce1:

I just bought 3 Longspine Cardinalfish (Zoramia leptacanthus) on tuesday to go with the 2 males I already had (Im pretty sure they were both males because they beat each other up and never went near one another). Several minutes after acclimation they started to pair up and on wednesday I noticed 2 of them swimming vertically together and today I have a male with eggs! Is the parallel swimming their courtship? Is it strange that after only 2 days they have already spawned? Im not going to raise this batch but I would like to raise future ones and maybe have breeding projects with different species. But for now im going to see how i do with these. Any tips and/or instructions for a first timer would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

i dont have any experience with Longspine Cardinalfish. But i do with bangahii breeding. If you plan on raiseing them try to have some live food ready for them BBS and as they get older mysis is good to have frozen would work pretty well. There is soo much information out there. I hope i don't get introuble by posting this website there is just so much on here i couldn't possibly type it out for you. Have a look at http://www.marinebreeder.org/phpbb/ (Marine Ornamental Fish & Invert Breeders Association) they have deffinitaly helped me. Good luck and con grats :celeb2:
