Care for sick/bad ammonia spike anemone

This is somewhat related to http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2121847 if you want to catch the full story. Bottom line regardless of how it happen I got a bad spike in ammonia and nitrate water conditions. I have since been slowly correcting them thru out the day with slow water changes as to not shock anyone/thing in the tank. My anemone has opened back up and seems color is returning, it is a medium tan with green tint. The mouth is remaining closed for the most part I have done a bit of targeted feeding and it appears to be eatting. I have attached a picture of what he looked like yesterday to today. My question is besides the obvious fix and maintain a pristine water condition for him, what else should I do?

As long as the water stays clean and stable you should be ok. It looks to be in good shape, and BTAs are hardy. However they can get up to 15 inches or more wide so I wouldn't feed it too much or it'll outgrow you in a few months.

I can only hope =), then have an excuse to get the wifey to let me get the larger tank I want anyway =). I am glad it was the weekend I spent all day slowly lowering the ammonia and nitrates. He looks a little mad in person compared to yesterday, I will keep a very close eye on those levels and make sure the water stays pristine. Thank you for all your insight/assistance today was reassuring that I did the right things to keep him alive. He looked rough around noon.

Is it normal for them to sorta close up when the blue/night time led's come on towards the end of the day/night?

With these BTA's do they get most of their food from lighting/some sorta symbiotic algae or thru what you feed them?

Again thanks a ton.
