Care of Nudibranches

I really like the purple nudibranches but I have heard they are hard to keep...but not really much else. Does anyone know anything about them? (What makes them hard to keep and such?) Thank you!!!:D

Based on what i have read it seems like they would be a pain. They ones that u prob want eat sponges, and we all know how well they keep, and also once the nudi dies, it can release all the poisens into the aquarium. So if you want to deal with all that go ahead, i certainly wouldn't want to help you. Good luck

I believe all Chromodoris are specific feeders, ususally if not always on sponges. I tried searching the seaslugforum.net for Chromodoris bullocki but they don't have any info on them.

my nudibranch died very quickly after i bought it, it was a lettuce one. not happy, but owell, it might have been eatin also, is that possible?

the one thing i read is that not many other creatures like to eat them b/c of the toxins that they release when they die so i'm not too sure if that's possible but i am just a beginner with all of this so i could be wrong....
