Carnivorous algae blenny?!?!

OK, I have had algae blennys before and they have always had a healthy appetite for the algae on my glass. Most of the time you get home from the LFS, toss them in the tank and they are munching on algae straight away. I put this little guy in the tank and he didn't go to work on the algae. I figured with the new environment, and water parameters he was probably in a state of shock and would start eating in a day or so. So tonight I toss some mysis in the tank to feed my clowns and he is racing around snapping them up like they are going out of bussiness. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

My starry blenny eats everything as well. I hear it is just harder for them to actually digest things like mysis, but that doesn't stop mine. He loves mysis, formula 2, and will perch on my nori for a long time.

All blennies that I have had will eat almost anything offered to them. Does not sound out of the ordinary to me.

All herbivores I can think of won't pass up a meaty meal if given the opportunity. The only exceptions I can think of are fish that won't accept any prepared foods.
