Carpet anemone at night

so just a couple a mins ago, i turned off my mh and looked at my anemone. He was expelling some sort of white mist or clear idk. is this normal?

Sounds like it's a male that's spawning. I wouldn't say it's common, but I wouldn't consider it rare either. Sometimes they do it because they are stressed, sometimes -- well, they just do it. Depending on the size of your tank, and the anemone, you may want to monitor your water parameters to make sure it's not fouling the tank.
