Carpet Anemone

I just purchased a green carpet for my tank and it has been in for a little over a week. I went to feed today and it ate 2 silversides, put them in the mouth and everything.. I came back 2 hours later and it had spit up the silversides and did not digest them or anything. Is this normal? I am relatively new to keeping anemones, always stayed away from them because I knew they were difficult. Water parameters are fine no phosphate, no ammonia, no nitrite, 10 ppm nitrate, temp 79, 1.024 sg, w 150 watt 14k halides and 2 130 watt actinics.. Thanks for any advice. Also do weekly water changes...

dont do anything for a day or so and then give him half of a silverside and see what happens

thaw the silversides

Feed smaller pieces. Silversides are huge.

Try table shrimp also mines love it.
