carpet anemone.

i just got a green carpet anemone and was curious what would be the optimal place to put it?. right now it is on my rock work, but my LFS had it on the sand bed. what do you guys recommend?.

Hi JM, I just got a new anemone and am new to keeping them, but after moving mine to what I thought was a good spot (high on a rock), soon found it had other ideas...it's crawled across half the tank today and is currently at the highest peak of the rocks, though it's been down across the sand too along the way.

I gather they shouldn't wander too much if they're happy (mine obviously isn't too happy yet), but they really do seem to go wherever they please

Hope yours is happy where you put it...sorry I don't know enough about it to suggest where you should.
