I'm looking to buy a carpet anemony for my false percula clowns. Would anyone happen to know a good source? Anyone looking to sell their anemony? What colors are available?

Hey steve,
Just a word of advice. If you are fighting algea issues you may want to hold off on getting a carpet anemone. If you read up on them they can be hard to keep. I have been fortunate with mine. I will knock on wood now. They average any where from 100.00 + in most LFS depending on the color. The price increases as you go from white, green, blue, red and purple. Buying one online is a very big risk because the majority of pictures they have are the same and do not represent the actual livestock.

I'll take the advice. My algae problem seems to be under control. I shortened my light cycle and took other measures. It never did get out of control Hairs might be 1/16 inch in a few places... In the mean time Bigdaddyadam, I'd like a progress report with your split.

not too sure on whether I can get one of the two clones loose from the rock at this point. they are totally split. also, I am sure that the splitting is stressful on them, so I would not feel right selling either one until they have had time to heal and are in full health again.
just as a side note I accidentally broke an sps a few weeks ago. the main part has since grown back onto the rock I set it on, but the base is also starting to grow like crazy too. its some form of digita and I kid you not it grows like CRAZY, this has litterally more than quadrupelled in the 6 or 8 months that I have had it, from about half an inch to the size of a small hand ball. nt sure what i would want for the base frag but if anyone is interested make me an offer and I will take it if reasonable.
