I dont have a good picture of the bottom but its was a sort of blue tint and spots near the edge.

I have one that looks almost the same as yours. I think it is Stichodactyla Helianthus.
I am interested if anyone has more information about this speices

They are S. helianthus. They are very easy to keep. They are an Atlantic carpet and do not host clown fish. They do host shrimp and crab. They are a very aggressive fish eater

Just to clarify this post is about 2 different news.

I'm not 100% that nem # 1 is a Helianthus the way it folds its self is a lot different than my Helianthus as well as the tentacle shape and length as well as number of tentacles on the disc. First look I thought it was a S. Helianthus.

Here is my Helianthus

OrioN you think both are S. helianthus?

This nem looks nothing like the nem in first 2 pictures in person.

First pic is 100% S. helianthus and will eat clowns.

Second is hard to tell without more pics. First guess would be haddoni or possibly mertens. Does it have any spots under its oral disc?

Helianthus can have a variety of colors and shapes, depending on health and stress. I agree with OrionN - both are Helianthus.

Here is another picture of Nem #1

Anyone have any good pictures of a mertens foot? looking at pictures #2 kinda looks like one.

I think they are both S. helianthus as well. That orange swirly pattern on the foot of the first on never present on clown hosting carpets. The helianthus verrucae are brown and form a regular pattern.
I have attached a couple S. mertens pics. One has magenta verrucae that become red closer to the foot. The other has orange verrucae that turn to red. In both the anemones the pattern of the verrucas are pretty much random and get closer together as you approach the foot. The magenta or orange verrucae are unique to S. mertens. S. gigantea verrucae are blue or purple. S. helianthus are brown, maybe orange if you have a vivid imagination or keep hard corals. :). (Sorry, taking a shot at how sps keepers describe shades of brown.)
