hi

my blue carpet is growing and just ate one of my tangs.....

i am starting to get concerned ..the tank is a 150 ....

is there a better choice of anenomes that will be good for my percs but less agressive in grabbing fish??? the carpet is super sticky...anything that touches it sticks....

what should i do??

BTA's are more fish friendly. You sure the tang was not on the way out and the nem just got a free meal? I would say if any fish gets stuck to it its lights out for the fish. If you care more about the fish maybe a new nem should be on the list.
I have a small green striped haddoni and a red one coming in. I would not be happy if my fish becomes meals, But i do know it is a possable, and understand the risks.
The caret will take up much of a 150 when fully grown making it easier for fish to get stuck.

IMO get rid of the fish.I LOVE clowns and Anemones and would rather have a blue carpet than a tang anyday! But thats just me!

+2 You can get tangs anyday...but a blue carpet that is doing well and growing? That's a prize worth hanging onto. I'm sure your clowns would agree. Of course, I like clownfish a lot better than tangs, anyway. ;)

+1 and set up a species tank for the blue haddoni. Marineland has a 30"x30"x18" 70g which would be perfect.
Here is a pic of my two sebae anemone's:

Those anemones are beautiful, marc price. Looks like that tang likes to live dangerously too, getting so close to that tomato clown's nem... :D
