So some of you might remember me posting about a month ago that my carpet nem ate my male 3" saddle back clown. About a week ago the female got spooked and swam into the carpet nem and the nem ate the female with was closer to 4". These had been with the nem for quite some time and I feed the nem 2 times a week. I guess I will be selling a clown fish eating carpet nem soon. With the male I could understand because he was a pain in the --- and would dive into the mouth. but the female never did that. With the male I tried to help but a few said that if there was a good slime coat in it they can get back out. Someone also said there must have been a health issue but I can honestly say I dont think so. They were fat and the only fish in a 100g system. "Couldnt keep anything else because the carpet would eat it" This carpet has eat a few hundred $ worth of fish in the past couple tangs and angels plus others. I have been keeping carpet nems for 15 years so I know a bit about them and yes once in a wile they might get a fish if there clowns are not on the ball. But never have I had one eat the clowns. I am in ahhhhh
