So from time to time my carpet nem will unattach and puff up float away. Im thinking i have to much flow in my tank but not sure. He eats when i feed him mouth is tight. When i trun of some of my powerheads and push him back to the spot i like he will reattach. im i the only one that thinks i have to much flow?

Haddonis aren't fans of high flow. IME, the quickest way to tick off/make move a haddoni is to add/change the flow.

I judge by the oral disc, if it is being lifted up, there is too much flow (( or too much flow in that area )) for it. The disc being lifted up once in a while -- for a short period of time -- should be fine, but all the time won't work.

Somtimes the disc would move not alot tho. So i moved some rock and a powerhead to see ifthis helps. thanks for the help Todd

Sure thing.

Another thing you can try (( and has worked well for me )) is to try to create a "cove" for the anemone.

Can sort of see what I am talking about in this pic,
