Carpet nem in SPS tank. Will it work?

Had to pull the clowns and put them in a breeder net. They were stressing the gig out biting its tenticles, and mouth relentlessly. It was gaping pretty bad today and it was deflating. Not even 10 minutes after i pulled the clowns the mouth is closing and its inflating back up. Looks like they will have to spend a couple weeks in lockdown till the gig is healthy and ready for them.
They were worse than when they had the rbta to host them.
They were evil smacking, biting and trying to force thier way down its mouth.

Well figured out why the nem was so ****ed. I had changed the output of my effluent the night before i added him.
Long story short. All the peramiters rose to extremely high levels.
I have been doing waterchanges to lower them. i did 3 25 gallon changes over the course of last eve to slowly bring it down and stopped the ca/rx.
the gig looked terrable last night and the way it looked i thought it would be dead by today.
This morning it looked better, and slowly it reinflated and looks a ton better the mouth even closed up for a good part of today.
Well i went to check again, and it is spawning. I have a bunch of pics and a couple short vids to get up.
I am still crossing my fingers that it will be ok. The way it looks now that it is, But ya never know. :(

good luck. I was never able to get a S. gigantea to live for me. I must spend over 1000 in trying to get Gigantea in the past, to the point of giving up on this species

Thanks, I have heard that stress or dieing causes spawning to self preserve its lineage.
I am mad because i got in a extremely healthy animal and i screwed it up.
