Carpet nem

ColinAbi

Hola
Found this carpet at the lfs but it's really bleached. Should I pass or take it? Lighting is ATI 4 bulb, with 2 blue and 2 coral. I have a bta already, could I feed the carpet some bta tentacles? I don't have a QT so I can't dose any of the treatments .

Honestly if you can find a healthier one that would be better unless carpet nems are very hard to come by in your market. Typically you can even find a nice green or two tone Haddoni at Petco. My advice would be to be patient and get a healthier one that's not a project like this.

Thanks for the quick reply. They also have this one . This one is greenish yellow so it has a bit of color. Would it be better? Also it is very small if that makes a difference.

Seaside hides the nems in the very back. lot of healthy looking green ones, but mostly dark green. But I don't think the owner knows too much about carpet nems. Everytime i ask if he has any Haddoni, he would reply: we have carpets.. I don't know what they are. come check it out.

LOL. The second one looks like a gig. it will be much more challenging than a Haddoni. Seaside should have a nice smaller Haddoni green color. I would check them out before pulling the trigger.

How's the pin tail wrasse doing? Some guy is trying to sell me one for $400.. it looks so nice. But I got a few carpets now, so I'm not sure about buying expensive fish anymore.

I lost my pin tail and rhomboid wrasses in QT unfortunately. You shouldn't pay more than $200 for a pin tail fairy wrasse. $400 for one is straight robbery. Even blue zoo sells theirs for $200.
Sending you Pm
