Carpet Question

I've had a electric green carpet for about 6 weeks now and have some questions about its behavior. It was in good condition when I got it attached to the rear glass the first day and opened up. It stayed to the rear left side of my tank and the 2 clowns I have ignored it. It deflated and inflated once or twice in that time I assume adjusting to the new environment. Its mouth closed up tight and I feed it a silverside at the 1 week mark and it ate it. Well once my clowns took notice about 2 weeks in they where gentle at first but the female started to more aggressively host it. She powers her way though its folds and try to swim though it more then over it. At about 3 weeks of having it and a week of being hosted it started to deflate inflate daily. Now in the last couple days it has moved from the bottom left of my tank to the top left of my tank just under my overflows. Is it trying to get away from my clowns? I have never seen a carpet hang from the top of a tank with no support under it. The mouth is still closed tight and it still looks ok when its open but will still deflate daily. When it was on the bottom there was nothing real close or touching the carpet the closest thing are some xenia at the front of the tank. I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t have any pictures since I havenââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t got a camera yet. Besides the clowns being a bit aggressive with there hosting I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t see anything that bothering it The other 2 fish (Wrasse and Mandarin) arenââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t allowed near it and neither is my hand, damn female clown. Is there anything I should be worried about or is it still adjusting to its new home. The tank is a 48 long 18 deep 20 tall with 8 x 54 T5 lights running with a 40 gallon sump and 2 - 3/4" sea swirl returns. Temp is about 78Ã"šÃ‚º and 1.025-1.026 SG. Water changes once a week with top off during the week. Use a RO/DI for all water and IO salt mix. Have a crocea clam, zoo's, shrooms, pipe organ coral, few crabs, snails, tube worms.

Let it roam! Just keep an eye on where its going and move things out of its way. It will settle where I wants to!
