My female jumped ship this evening...I found it on the floor, a good distance from the tank. Anyhow, I have no idea how long it was there...the fish was somewhat dry but still alive, so I tossed it in my refugium. now she's breathing heavy, laying at the bottom corner. What are the chances she'll make it? I'm thinking slim

She may develop a bacterial infection. This could also trigger a brook outbreak if the parasite is present in the tank.
I would add some slime coat restorer like Seachem StressGuard.

thankfully, she seems to be fine, at least for now. she appears to be breathing and swimming fine. I'll keep her in the fuge till tomorrow then I'm going to probably move her to my qt tank to keep an eye on her. The only brand of slime coat restorer I think I can get is API brand, not sure if that will work with saltwater fish or not.

My first clown did this I found him on the ground all dried out and I put him back in the tank, he slowly recovered over about a week and lasted 8months before turning into a psycho and killing many fish (it was an ocellaris)
