carpet vs rose

can a carpet anemone come in contact with a Red bubble tip anemone or will they sting each other?

What type of carpet?

In the past I had a Haddoni and a BTA in the same tank, for the most part all was fine. But, when the BTA split the clone went on walk-about. It came into contact with the Haddoni, while the Haddoni survived, it didn't look good for a couple of days.

LOL After 9+ years of keeping them, I don't think there is anything that I haven't experienced with them.

The BTA looked fine, it went on its marry way and found a nice spot.
