Carpets in a 40 breeders?

Hi all,

i REALLY hate to do this, but thinking about setting up a 40 breeder to house 1 Hadoni and 1 gig. has anyone been keeping your carpet(s) in a 40 breeder or similar capacity for a long time?

i used to have this 40 breeder setup as a rose anemones only tank but got tired of taking care of more than 1 tank so i tore it down...... now i would like to keep a blue gig in there.....

how about you show me some pics of your 40 gal or less carpet tank(s) you have? :thumbsup:

My guess is if you get a small enough and healthy Gig... not feed it daily or as often, it should be able to hang out in there for a while.. but honestly for long term health and happiness a 40B probably isn't the best idea.. Now if you just plan on having the Gig right in the middle of the 40B and no other carpets.. I would think it's doable as long as the tank is stable.

I would stick to 1 carpet for a 40 breeder. Now the best part is which specie of carpet...??? Let us know.

well i went home last night and look at my tank and re-valuate the situation, i opt not to do it as i dont think i am ready to take care of another tank and can enjoy the DT at the same time so there it goes
