2 clowns
1 midas blenny
1 exquisite firefish

Or, flame hawkfish?

would it eat peppermint or cleaner shrimp? it says not to put them with small shrimp, I don't consider those small.

I was reading, the basslet might not like my bright led lights, it likes subdued lighting so not sure.

Ive tried one of these twice.....

Both times they died. Lovely fish for sure, but for the short time I had the one, it hid all the time. I don't know if the second was also sick when it came out of QT, but it ate well and looked healthy before going in the DT, that night it ate well, woke up in the morning, dead. First one died during TTM.

Mine never bothered my cleaner shrimp, but he was easily twice the fishes size. lol

Thats kind of what I thought too.

I still want one, and someday I may try again.

EDIT:
I don't see a problem with your stock list either, but that would probably enough fish for a 40B.
