I had some similar awhile back but these seem to thrive in high flow and 7 inches from a 250 watt halide.

Thanks Charles,I bought this 2 polyp frag in October for 15 bucks.I really like them. You should see the puppies under LEDs.

My large colony used to glow under 6 LED's, but just like most africans. caput after a while, mine took almost several months to deminish.

Yep, keep them in good flow, they love flow. good luck on them.

Those are not a type of Hornet. Blue and yellow/green does not equal hornet every time. If that was the case I have a million bucks in my tank.

There isn't any green on my polyps.I think Scott-CapeCoral was kidding about them being hornets because of whats on Charles signature.

Jarrod,

The African Blue's/AOI's that you first posted a picture of sure have green/yellow in them.

Thanks for coming over and checking them out for me.WHere are you going with this anyway? Are you trying to make a point? All I asked was are these Caribbean zoas.

Jarrod, I think if you search for that large african blue hornet thread, i think it was talked about where it was collected at.

These are the only polyps besides my Tubbs that have held there blue under strong lighting. Most of them IMO will turn grey.

African blues act like SPS, love good to strong flow and LOVE high light, from what I had and heard from others.
