Catching a Sally Light Foot Crab

Hey everyone,

Just saw my sally light foot crab trying to attack a fish. Now that the lights went out, i saw him sitting at the base of my stylo eating at his flesh....

Is there a way for me to trap him rather than remove all my rock?

Get a tall smooth sided glass and bait it with some raw seafood. Tilt it up against the rockwork. The crab will climb in but won't be able to climb back out. Just be sure the glass you use is taller than the crab's leg span.

:thumbsup: Glad it worked out for you! I had a sally years ago that would stalk my yellow watchman goby. It tried grabbing it several times, and I ended up getting rid of the sally.

stocking a goby? lol it used to attack all my fish and on top of it ate bases of my sps!
