Updated 9/2 OK I recieved 2 penductors (as it is printed on them) They have a little penguin on them. Would a Gen X PCX55X push them OK or Do I need more? They won't be my main source of flow, just trying to get more out of my returns. I have a feeling I will be modifying them also. :)

Here's a pic of them...

OK, more updates. Second coat of mud is up. One more to go and should be ready for paint by this weekend. Thank wall is done. There will be access doors from the front. I want to be able to feed and work on the tank from both front and back.

RE: Heaters...how many watts for 250gal??

I am using three 400 watters for my 220 (with a 70 gallon fuge and 50 gallon sump). I figure I have around 300 gallon water volume once everything is taken into account. They just started kicking on with the cool weather of late.

I could probably have gotten away with a little less, but figured I would play it safe. In case it matters they are controlled by my ACjr.

HTH,

I find it useful to just have the bare concrete, it absorbs some of the small spills, with that stuff you would go crazy trying to get every last drop or wait until it evaporated...JMO

It won't hurt Cato. A friend of mine uses something similar in his reptile shop for ease of clean-ups and sanitation. I believe he added a grit to it so it wasn't so slick once wet. As for the heaters.... see what you tank's average running temp is and go from there... you may not need any or need minimal.

camarojweed, been studying your site along with a few others for my ideas. Nice job. Any updated pics recently??

Page 4 is the most up to date, I do have some shots to put on of my clams that I just put in the show tank, and I have been slowly adding my sps frags to the tank...I also have to add a picture of my water change system...If there is something you want to see better I can take a shot of that..your system looks like it is coming along nicely...here to help if you have any questions...
