Caught In The Act **~~Video~~**

She's at it again, broke the glue bond and is redecorating my tank.

The video is zoomed in all the way (10x) so the camera is definately a little shakey and the quality isn't so great. Its just a regular digital camera that can take video, it really isn't set up to take good video.

But you guys can see how funny my hippo is.

Thats pretty funny! My GSM does the same thing, I almost have to bungee cord eerything down. I use lots and lots of glue.

rofl. goodness!! lol.

See you just need to train her, when something else knocks it down, she needs to pick it back up and put it back. Maybe with a little bit of training you could pull it off...lol

Funny indeed. It seems to be unusual behaviour, is it really trying to relocate it or just trying to pick some algae growing in the frag plug?

I would have thought that, except the only reason I was able to get this on film is because that was the third time it had done it (I pick it up and put it on the rocks, she puts it back into the sand, repeat) so I pulled the camera out for the last one.

And the frag plug broke off two days ago, it is pure SPS tissue only on that particular piece, watch the video again, you can see it.

I also moved the broken off frag plug to the rocks and somewhat tried to hide it and she saw the plug and did the same thing with it too. She can tell when new things are added to the tank.

Her behavior is passive too. If a fish challenges her she will back down, even if the fish is smaller. She is not agressive in any way.

The yellow tang is passive too. They share off the same nori clip and when large pieces break off they take turns nipping it directly from each others mouths, but there is no agression involved.

If you wanna know another "out of the ordinary" thing about my tank is the two RBTA's I have.

They both have roamed the tank a number of times and touched every coral in my tank at one time or another and have never stung any of them.

For 5 or 6 months they both nested right on top of each other with their tentacles in constant contact and have never stung each other.

Right now there are SPS branches & pink xenia that are in range of their tentacles and get brushed constantly and they have never been stung either.
