Caulerpa algae??

The algae below came in two of my best rocks from TBS. I just read a post by Sk8r that recommended discarding the rocks with Caulerpa Algae. I googled it and it looks very similar to mine.
Discarding these two rocks or even beaching them would be a bad thing since they make most of my order. Are these in effect Caulerpa Algaes?...options?

Thanks!!

I just picked it off my tbs rocks, and added it to my sump. I actually have a few types, green, red and brown. I actually ask for some. it will only take over if you let it. Richard said it may not be long term due to our tanks being cooler than the gulf

Richard is a good and valuable wealth of knowledge. I consider him a real environmental steward.

Thank you!

Why keep it in your sump and even ask for some? What's the benefit?

it looks cool in the tank. I believe in as natural a look as possible. it's in the gulf, it stays in my tank. I had a mantis for years, he never did any real damage. I fed him from a stick.i let it grow in the fudge for nitrate removal. I also have rubble and a mantis in there.
