caulerpa going sexual????

i have a HOB fuge w/ moderate amount of caulerpa. this morning b4 i left for work, my tank looks good. when i went home my tank is cloudy, not too cloudy though. cloudy in a sense that you just put new LS on your tank. i also bought 3 maxijets( 2 maxi900, 1 maxi1200) yesterday and placed it on my tank last night. i also got calcium, mg, strontium and trace elements, all kent products and put it in my tank as recommended.. so i dont know if it was caused by the caulerpa or the "sand storm" (some of my sand was blown away) caused by my new PH. my skimmer was collecting a tinged color green water. my nitrite/trate are 0, ammonia 0. my perc doesn't looked stressed, my polyps and shroom are looking good, didn't retract at all. i turned off my PH for now, also disconnected my fuge to my tank. caulerpa on the fuge still intact, no slimmy substance in the tank also.
so could somebody tell me if this was caused by caulerpa going sexual, or from the sand being blown away.

if the caulerpa is still green and looking good, its probably sand.

Yea I dont think that the celpura going sexual would cause noticeable cloudiness. I have celpura in my fuge, and I dont have it on a 24/7 light shedule and I have never noticed a clodiness.
