Causing BTA to split

I have seen many threads on getting bta's to split. I don't want to use a razor blade. Any thoughts (over feeding, large water changes).

just feed it naturally, try using selcon to soak whatever it is you're feeding to the anemone. I heard that works really well! I wouldn't want to try and force it to split. Natural is always the best way IMO.

Naturally is the best way by far. Pushing an anemone to the spliting point, really ONLY can create stress for it. Over feeding or too much of anything is not good, to larger water changes and more food will only stress it out.

I've heard a 50% water change will cause it to split. Mine has only split twice in almost 4 years.
