Thank you. It did suck hearing about your situation as well and I hope it all turns out for the better for you as well. I think we both have way to much in it to walk away. We both can only pick up the pieces and learn what not to do a long the way.
Thank you(I think). The main display is 240 and the two specific tanks below are 29's.
I still have to wrap the stand with Oak sheeting, but I want to make sure the 2-29's are complete to make it easier to work on them while I get them set up. The Sea Horse/Pipe Fish tank is done. Now I have to set up the Frog/Angler tank.

CaveManNOhio, very sorry to hear of your mishap. You have an awesome tank going and as you said - learn from the mistake and move on. That was the reason I was afraid of going CL, but I'm sure you will find a solution and move on. Thanks for all the photos - I just love the Tulip Anemones, they are beautiful.
I also love your Sea Horse tank, I'm doing the same with my build. You also have some very nice Gorgonians in with your sea horses - they're my favorite coral.

Thank you every one for all the kind words and support. I have pretty much gotten over the depression phase. It sucks, but now we move on. I get to re-think fish corals and all. Since the big crash the only other things that we have lost have been one of the big clams and our sweet Leather Sinulara looks like it is going to crash.
Right now I am just kicking back and taking my time on getting re-stocked. I want to make some modifications to the basement end. One of the reasons I think it may have been so hard on the main display is because there isn't a big enough water turn over in the tank. I could be wrong though.
I think the Hammer Head is struggling due to all the returns & what equipment it is running. So I am going to up-grade to a Sequence 8400 Power Series Pump.
I have talked with Sequence and gave them all the specifics on my system and that is the pump they recommended for what I have and what I want for turn over.
ReefArtist, I love the tulip anemones, they spread pretty quick. But so far I have found they really don't seem to bother any one they get near. I have been looking at some more gorgonians I love their colors & shapes. I still need to get pipe fish for that tank as well, but that will be a little ways down the road.

Just a quick up-date, installed my new pump last weekend. I have up-graded my Main Return pump. It was a Hammer Head, it's now a Sequence Power Series 8400.
This pump rocks!! I now can run all of my equipment, spray bars in the basement as well as all 3 tanks up stairs.
The only thing that sucked about the switch out was I flooded the living room 3 times getting all the returns up-stairs adjusted. The 2"drains couldn't keep up. Oh well another lesson learned.
So now I have started re-stocking the tanks.

I will get some pictures posted. The main thing I lost was just about all the fish. So that will be the main thing. I may stick with mostly small blenny's and what not and only a couple big type fish.

There are different times available, Mine is adjustable to 60 minutes, but I set it on about 5. Different voltages too, so pick one that works for you.
I also have a low water level switch in my sump hooked to it.

The only thing is I don't have an over-flow. I have 4-2" elbow inside the tank. So I'm not sure where I would put a float switch to detect restriction. I could see putting some thing in the sump for low water level. I would hate to see what it would take to clog all four drains at the same time. So flow restriction may not really be one of the problems I will have to deal with.

IT'S GREAT to be back!!
The more I kept looking at the tank I knew there was no way I was going to leave this hobby. I love it to much.
Your system is really looking nice. I would love to see it in person some day. My dad lives in Ft. Lauderdale, we might be going to visit him around the end of the year, would it be possible to meet if we do?
That would work. If it rises any more than it is now it will be running over.
The dial on the picture had me confused at first, I thought they were timer like switches, but the dial is what set's the delay in killing the power correct?
