Centropyge boylei (Peppermint Angelfish)

Ouch, I was just going by thinking what a deepwater angel would eat, sound info from other sites like fishbase(temp). thats all. What is marines gardens anyway like aquacon or something?

You just stated this information as if it were fact, which it isnt. I object to that, and probably knee jerk overreacted. I just hate misinformation.

It makes as much sense as "bonafide classified", and the ridiculous novel of a signature of yours. If youre going to call yourself the "reef expert", you might want to make sure your expert advice is correct.

:lolspin:

Anyways......Are people still collecting these guys? Or was it just one person? The cook islands seem kinda remote for someone to just decide to go fish collecting there and then possibly need a rebreather to get to them.

I think I used to see clip video of this fish but can't find it.
Anybody has it? Please give us the link for viewing pleasure.
Thanks.

No I didnt. How long have they been down?

Unfortunately a long time. I emailed Harbor to see if they had another source for the videos, but language barriers prevented me from being able to find out if they are hosted elsewhere.

It is a shame too because these were probably the only videos taken of the particular fish that has been kept by a hobbyist. Hopefully someone has either saved the videos or has another source, because watching the fish in action is pretty neat.

I got the one to play for me this morning, but that was at work and it wont work now at home.
