Hey Guys,
I purchased a tiny Multicolor Angel about 8-10 weeks ago. He went into my 400g reef tank and disappeared into the rock work. He stayed pretty much hidden for the first 8-10days.
When he finally started venturing out I was disappointed, because the beautiful little fish I put into the tank was now charocal grey. The white on the body had transformed into dark grey, as if the fish had been covered with Activated Carbon dust. The purple markings on the head and fins are still present but all the white is gone.
I thought at first that it was because the fish had not been out in the light or eating.
But now it's been over 6 weeks. The fish is in an out amoung the rock work. It eats every food that I add to the tank.
In addition to the Multi-color Angel, I also have a pair of Bellus Angels, and one (or possibly 2) Golden Angels.
There is also a bunch of other fish in the aquarium (over 50)
Any thoughts as to what happened?
Any thoughts as if my pretty fish will come back?
