there are groups of rebreather divers in Hawaii and it's surrounding islands who go 400+ft depth....i wonder why nobody still caught one in last 5 years(well i started seriously following this hobby from 2008),if there were sporadic sightings...

I think we are talking about waifs here. According to fishbase, the distribution of this fish is "Eastern Central Pacific: Johnston Atoll. Strays reported from the Hawaiian Islands."
i know..but catching experts are almost all in Hawaii and it's surrounding islands..like RT's divers and Rufus Kimura and co.:wavehand:
