Cephsource?

I saw that cephsource is gonna be down for a while. Anyone know of a good place to get o. bimaculoides. I want a young one preferably not wild caught but I will deal if it is wild.

Well cephsource is and was the only place to get a captive hatched octo. They will be down for a while how ever, going through some changes. I'll keep you posted when there back up. Try fishsupply.com. They are a good source for a bimac. This is the time of year when bimacs complete there life cycle though. Females are getting ready to lay eggs... So there is always a chance that a bimac bought at this time of year could be short lived. Ask for a small one and with any luck you will be ok for awhile. I just got one a few weeks ago from there. And it's doing great. Make sure you have a tank set up and ready for one. Your tank should be running for at least 3 months and be able to handle a heavy bio load. Live rock, live sand, good skimmer, activated carbon... They require extra care. Well worth the effort though. Follow the care sheets on cephsource and you will be ok. Only stay away from undergravel filters. And go with a protein skimmer.
