I reinstalled the media reactors. All that black vinyl tubing was making me nervous. Replaced with spaflex where I could. Wating on carbon and GFO from bulkreefsupply.

I'm really taking my time with stocking. Still working on getting my coral qt set up. My fish qt is being medicated with copper to kill off some ich. Plus money's a bit tight. I kind of like taking my time though.

Thanks! There's still so much I want to do. The rock on the sand in the middle is temporary. It has some blue shrooms on it. It'll be going in the 180. I think the rock work will look much better when it's gone. It'll seperate the two islands a bit more.

I'm going for the "less is more" look. I want to have plenty of room for my fish to swim around in.

Very nice work! Does that being in your office allow for any type of tax write off on some of the costs?

Actually yes in a way. I use a company card which means I only get taxed once.

I get taxed twice for every dollar I make. First business tax, then income tax when I get paid.

Funny you ask, I actually just picked up two 60" VHO super blue actinic bulbs today. I have a VHO retro kit that came with my 55 gallon set up. I'm using the 55 as a QT and don't need that much light over it. I'll replace them with some PC's I have lying around. When it's time to replace my MH bulbs I'm going to try out some 10K's. I want to get some faster growth out of my tiny frags lol. I'll let you know how it goes.

I have quite a bit of updates to go over. If you like you can take a look at my rant on the reef discussion forum.

I'll be doing a tank rebuild as soon as all the plumbing parts come in.

Nice tang where did you get him?

Thanks! I picked him up at Aquarium City in the San Fernando Valley. He was expensive but well worth it. Super healthy, ate flake food from my hand on the first day.

It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride to say the least. I have everything ready to make the changes. I just need a full weekend day to do all the work. I also have to convince someone to come in to work and help me move the tank. Not an easy task. I'm glad you like the Naso, he's definitely my "showpiece" fish. I'm not sure how long my rockwork will look like that. The vermitid snails are exploding in numbers. I may be starting over with new rock pretty soon.

I dont know how many you got...but I used to go through and just put a dab of superglue right at the opening...seemed to help and made me feel better!! :D
