This is probably a dumb question but is it possible to put chaeto algae in my HOB filter?
I have a 10 gallon nano with a ball of chaeto stuffed in the back corner and I really don't like it there. It does a great job for my water parameters but I visually don't like it and I thought maybe my HOB would be a good place to stuff it. The only problem I forsee would be no light getting to the algae in which case it would probably die or whatever. However, if I took the top off of my HOB I think the light would hit it enough to keep it alive.
