Does anyone have any expierience with these fish? Everything that I have read says they only eat coral but was wondering if anyone has anything to add. Its such a beautiful fish I saw one at the fish store today and almost got it but wasnt sure

One of those fish that really shouldn't even be collected. The chances of longterm survival are VERY slim. I've never kept one, but I've seen plenty of them die in fish stores and other peoples tanks. Sadly, they probably should be left to die in fish stores so hopefully the owner learns a lesson.

I had one for about 3 weeks. He came in at 2" and ate for a week, then stopped and I put him in a small reef to see if he would eat and he just withered away...

this fish should never be collected for captive aquaria
