Nice pics, way to go against the grain! People are definitely jumping on the butterfly bandwagon. And for all you nay sayers, just another example of healthy corals and supposed nippers. Keep the corals healthy and the fish will leave them alone.

Agreed, but, something to consider...when have people had trouble-free reefs for years? I know I sure haven't been so lucky. So, while the whole concept of fish not eating healthy happy corals is great, one must consider what happens when you have that off month or two...
 
Well, three years after introduction, I thought a little update on the progress of the butterflies and flag fin would be good.

They are all still going strong!

I haven't had any health issues with them and their diet of mysis, brine and Ocean Nutrition pellets seems to suit them really well. They haven't been a problem with any of the corals, so I've been lucky there.

Everyone's looking great! I didn't realize the yellow saddle on the dorsal fin is that bright yellow.
