Yes, when it comes to aggression, my experience with a few favia species taught me that they can be infinately more aggressive than chalices. I bought a favia frag that was about 2 inches in diameter. It stung an acan that was 6 inches downstream. The acan eventually succumbed to brown jelly disease. This was in my first few months in reefkeeping, so it was a good lesson learned. Having said that, I've seen other favia with very short sweepers. It seems to me that aggression is specific to species and even specimens within the species, at times.
