Hi, Stylaster, could you post your water parameters? (Alk, Ca, Mg, NO3, PO4) Heard too many different conflicting chalice requirements on the internet...

Sure here is what i run
Alk is 8.2
CA is 450
MG 1200
NO3 < .01
PO$ < .01
Hope that helps, pretty much as care as any good mixed reef. Only difference is that i do fed the chalices once a week.

Honestly qusetion, why do you leave the coraline on the glass?

The tank is pretty deep and i cant get the scraper at a good angle to get it off. Rockwork / corals get in the way
