Chalice Delight Tank

You need the "easy blade" it glues onto a magnafloat. It uses a razor blade to clean the glass. They work great on coraline algea.

Completely jealous :D I've bought 2 chalice frags in the past few months and I'm keeping myself from buying more until I see some growth lol I wish I were in your area if ever you were to frag some out :) You only feed them once a week? I found that if I don't feed at least twice a week the feeders don't come out and I need to retrain them all over again.
Is that a rbta at the bottom of the tank?

Thank you, i actually enjoy the corraline, but it does need scraped some more. The tank is acrylic so no razor blades. Yes that's a rbta, also there is a minimax in there too

Its been awhile so here are some updated shots of the chalice delight.... now improved with more SPS!

absolutely beautiful but i have a question what is your favorite chalice and what is your favorite type of coral other than a chalice? And what is the 2nd coral in post #105?

Was a beautiful tank I am trying to do a couple chalices in my tank now hope they look half as good as those in the pictures of his last tank. Guess ill have to check out his Acro tank too then if he has a thread on it.

I know this is an old thread but I'm gonna take a shot anyway. I bought a stunner chalice frag brownish with bright green eyes. I've started feeding them and my other corals sometimes with reef snow. (new to the hobby by the way) tonight when I fed the stunner with reef snow I noticed it looked like it was releasing some stringy stuff right after I pumped the reef snow over them. Is this bad? should I stop doing that with the chalice frag?
