Chalice morphing?

I have noticed some weird/neat new coloration pattern in my watermelon chalice. Anyone see this before? Does it have to do with lighting? I recently removed some corals that allows more light to get to this chalice. Still relatively lower light than the rest of the tank sees since it's below an rock cliff. JP

Changes in lighting could cause a color morph, yes.

I'm hung up on the change in (new) growth structure; that's usually due to flow.

Yeah, lighting. The OG mummy eye I have went from green to nearly-yellow/green -- great morph and still super happy. Cool to see that change on yours though as it's so drastic from one side to the other.

My first OM Mummy changed to orange also. I then purchased a second and kept in the shade to keep the green. In my experience light and flow will change ZOA and chalice.

Last time I did a bulb change I removed 1 T5 purple/super actinic and replaced them to both actinics. Very subtle change, but that could be the reason. I use the WXM module to change flow through 5-6 profiles daily.
